*The Ermine family is often called the "White Otter" family, because they share the same figure mold as the Vandyke Otter Family. However an Ermine is actually a type of Stoat or Weasel that is called Ermine especially in the winter months when they have their white winter coats on. 

The Sylvanian Ermine family and babies are extremely rare to find, as they are no longer in production and were only available at the Sylvanian Forest Market in Japan. Each member of this family is sold separately and the twins come boxed together. Like most older Japanese figures, they have no official names, so I have decided to give them unofficial names of my own.
